The maximum temperature of the grouting gasket is limited to 180°C. This is a type J, mineral insulated probe. It features very rugged and flexible mineral insulated thermocouples suitable for high pressure and vacuum applications that can withstand strong vibrations. It has an insulated (not grounded) tip and a stainless steel sheath with a 310 quality connection over 1 m of 7/0.2 PTFE insulated cable. The maximum peak temperature is 760°C.
