Type K surface thermocouples are designed for surface temperature measurement with good heat transfer. They feature Kapton insulated leads, with a diameter of 0.25 mm, and a hot solder on a PTFE insulated flat copper terminal. The thermocouples have an epoxy resin coating and a miniature connector output with compensated pins.
