Thermocouple, subcutaneous probe (Type T). A copper/copper-nickel thermocouple is housed in a stainless steel probe tip with a diameter of 1.6 mm. The casing is soldered to the probe tip and P.T.F.E. The insulated cable runs through a waterproof entry. The probe can be steam sterilized. The thermocouple is not isolated from the probe tip.
