Fine wire thermocouples of type K are devices used for temperature measurement, consisting of two wires made from different materials. When these wires are connected, they form an electrical junction. Changes in temperature at this junction generate a voltage that is used for temperature reading. This phenomenon is known as the Seebeck effect. The type K thermocouple probe is a simple PTFE thermocouple cable with an integrated plug. The sensors are made from a 1 or 3 m long class 1 thermocouple wire with a molded thermocouple mini plug.
