Fine wire thermocouples of type K are devices used for temperature measurement, consisting of two wires made from different materials. When these wires are connected, they form an electrical junction. Temperature changes at this junction generate a voltage that can be used to read the temperature. This phenomenon is known as the Seebeck effect. The type K thermocouple probe is a simple PTFE thermocouple cable with an injection-molded connector. The sensors consist of a 1 or 3 m long class 1 thermocouple wire with an integrated thermocouple mini plug.
