Thermocouple Type: K
Sensor Diameter: 1.2 mm
Sensor Material: Nickel-Aluminum, Nickel-Chromium
Connection Type: Miniature Plug
Cable Length: 1 m
Standards Met: IEC
Response Time: 0.1 s
Fine wire thermocouples of type K are devices used for temperature measurement, consisting of two wires made from different materials. When these two wires are connected, they form an electrical junction. When the temperature at this junction changes, a voltage is generated, which can be used to read the temperature. This phenomenon is known as the Seebeck effect. The type K thermocouple probe is a simple PTFE thermocouple cable, complete with a molded connector. The sensors consist of a 1 or 3 m long class 1 thermocouple wire with a molded thermocouple mini connector.
Features and Benefits:
The thermocouple fiber optic cable of this temperature sensor is 1 m long and has a response time of 0.1 seconds. It has a wide operating temperature range from -100 °C to 250 °C.
Typical Applications:
This probe is used in various applications and is often employed as an embedded sensor in the construction industry, paper electronics, and packaging industry. Type K thermocouples are ideal for most general applications due to their ability to operate over a wide temperature range. They can be used in rotary kilns, gas turbine outlets, diesel engines, or other industrial processes.
