Round patch cable Cat 5e 100 Ω UTP with 4-pair construction in AWG 26, low smoke, halogen-free jacket (LSZH) and equipped with molded RJ45 connectors on each end. These Cat-5e patch cables are available in various colors and cable lengths. The RS Pro Cat 5e cables are designed for excellent performance in high-speed network applications. This Cat5e cable from RS Pro supports horizontal network applications over longer distances of up to 100 meters.

Cat5 and Cat5e are practically identical and cannot be distinguished by strength, color, or material. Cat5e cables often have a more durable cable jacket, making them better suited for use over many years compared to Cat5 cables. Within the cable jacket, the wires are often twisted more tightly, which makes them less susceptible to crosstalk. Cat5e cables support networks operating at speeds of up to 1 Gigabit per second, making them ideal for use in IT environments where fast data transmission is crucial. Additionally, Cat5e cables have a higher bandwidth of 350 MHz, allowing them to transmit significantly more information from one system to another than Cat5 cables.
