When setting up the device, it is important to consider that the angled connectors plugged into a socket extend approximately 25 mm. Cat-5e UTP patch cables with angled connectors. These gray cables are a solution for all RJ45 connections where space and the specific orientation of the connection are the main factors. The tight radii of the angled connectors are ideal where space is a critical factor. An additional advantage is that the cable is not subjected to excessive tension at the point where it enters the connector housing. Horizontal connection configuration: Type 'A' is straight to angled and connects horizontally to sockets facing upwards, while the angled connector is inserted from the left. Vertical connection configuration: Type 'C' is straight to angled and connects vertically to sockets facing downwards.
