Not equipped with reverse polarity protection. Any temporary reversal of the supply voltage will destroy the device. Digital magnetic sensor. An "active" version of the standard type, but including an IC to provide a digital output compatible with most logic systems. Requires a circumferential speed of more than 250 mm per second for operation. Rise and fall times as well as the amplitude of the output pulse width are independent of the characteristics and speed of the interruption. Output characteristic data: With no interruption moving in front of the pole part, the output voltage is below 0.15 V. For each interruption passing the pole part, a positive pulse is generated. To calculate the output pulse amplitude for different loads, the following relationship can be used: V_O = V_S x R_L / (R_L + 5000), where V_O is the amplitude of the output pulse (Volts), V_S is the supply voltage (Volts, DC), and R_L is the load impedance (Ohms). 5000 is the approximate output impedance (Ohms).
