For use with the multimeter lead set, the protected test probes must provide a safe method for voltage measurement in high-voltage circuits. They meet the requirements of the GS38 safety directive and the IEC 1010 safety standard, CAT III, 1000 V. Each test probe is equipped with an HRC fuse (500 mA, 1000 V). Replacement fuses are available. The protected test probes can also be combined with additional test clips in the multimeter lead set.
