Made of brass, nickel-plated. The 'bayonet' refers to a threaded pin mount with a double-slotted base. RS Pro 286-901 with two pins is only suitable for bayonet base RS Pro 286-866. Adapter RS Pro 286-917 is to be used with thermocouples RS Pro 259-328 and 259-334.
