Each model has excellent protection with an IP67 rating. While not completely waterproof, these displays are fully protected from dust and other small particles and can be immersed in water for a maximum of 30 minutes (up to 1 m depth). The LED will continue to function properly if the guidelines are followed.

Additional benefits include lower temperature emission compared to incandescent or neon lamps and directional light emission, which eliminates the need for additional components like reflectors (though this is not applicable when the LED display is used as a PCB signal).
