Harvest Moon: Light of Hope follows in the spirit of its predecessors and is sure to delight fans of the series. In search of a fresh start, you embark on a journey to a new life. Unfortunately, the weather has other plans, as your ship is caught in a monsoon and sinks. You wash ashore in a small harbor town that lies in ruins due to the storm. There, a young doctor named Jeanne saves your life. The town has been more or less abandoned, but you have never shied away from a challenge. It is up to you to rebuild the town and save the lighthouse, but it won't be easy. Nevertheless, as you grow crops, care for livestock, and gather materials for repairs, you will have the opportunity to make new friends, start a family, repair the lighthouse, and save the town, your new home.
