Uniform and color-correct illumination plays an important role when viewing, sorting, and digitizing slides and other transparent originals. Anyone who regularly deals with film material of any kind (slides and negatives) should use a light panel. Reflecta GmbH, based in Baden-Württemberg, has been offering a range of different light panels for years and is now expanding its portfolio to include a very light, handy, and transportable variant.

Mobility thanks to compact dimensions and battery operation. The reflecta LED light panel L130 has compact dimensions of 155 x 150 x 14 mm and weighs only 260 grams, making it one of the smallest light panels on the market. The actual light field measures 125 x 100 mm, providing space for 4 mounted 35 mm slides or 2 medium format slides with 6 x 6 cm size. Due to its small dimensions, the flat mini light panel is ideally suited for mobile use. The small LED light panel L130 is powered by six 1.5V AAA alkaline batteries, allowing for easy use anywhere. For continuous operation, a 9V power supply unit can be used as an option, which saves the batteries during stationary use.

Homogeneous light distribution. LED technology ensures uniform light distribution across the entire light field, allowing even the peripheral areas to be used for viewing positives. The color temperature of 5000 Kelvin (+/- 270K) enables correct color rendering similar to daylight. With a service life of the LEDs of approximately 10,000 hours, there is no need to worry about changing lamps.
