The RED patch cable is a fully shielded Cat.6a patch cable AWG 27/7 BC LSZH, designed for 10 Gbit according to IEEE 802.3an (PoE IEEE802.3af/IEEE802.3at). The outer diameter of the cable is 5.8 mm. The conductor material is bare copper, and the shielding structure is S/FTP PiMF. The pair shielding consists of AL-coated plastic composite foil. The overall shielding is made of Mg braid. The outer jacket is LSZH according to IEC 60754-2 and low smoke according to IEC 61034. The operating temperature ranges from -10 °C to +60 °C. The patch cable features two RJ45 connectors with gold-plated contacts and withstands more than 750 mating cycles. The connector standard is IEC 60603-7-51. The Cat.6A component testing has been conducted according to ISO/IEC 11801, DIN EN5173-1, and IEC61935-1. Additionally, the patch cable has been tested to Class EA up to 500 MHz according to ISO/IEC 11801 and DIN EN5173.
