RØDE Lavalier

The Rode Lavalier is an ultra-lightweight condenser lapel microphone with a omnidirectional pickup pattern. This microphone is suitable for a variety of applications: broadcasting, conferences, lectures, live performances, and much more. In addition to its discreet and smart design, the condenser microphone impresses with extremely low self-noise, crystal-clear sound quality, and optimal speech intelligibility with minimal handling noise. It is complemented by the proprietary Rode MiCon adapter, which allows the Lavalier to connect to a wide range of common audio systems.

With this condenser microphone, you achieve a particularly accurate representation of sound for neutral, lifelike recordings. It captures even the smallest sound pressure levels, resulting in excellent sensitivity, especially in the high-frequency range.

The omnidirectional pickup pattern allows for uniform sound capture from all directions, so you do not need to align the microphone precisely. It provides a natural sound and reduces wind noise. Additionally, with this pickup pattern, the frequency response is not affected by the distance to the sound source—therefore, the proximity effect does not occur.
