The tripod requires only a free space of 12 x 17 cm for the 1.2 kg heavy steel base to be placed. Thanks to the heavy base, the Rode DS-2 Table Tripod can support a weight of up to 900 g. The stand features two articulated arms that can be secured with quick-release locks, ensuring they stay reliably in position. At the end of the DS-2 tripod is a 3/8 inch thread for attaching microphones or microphone mounts. A thread adapter to 1/4 inch is included for attaching cameras.
