Currently, there are not many products that offer over 165hz in addition to 27 inches and 2560 x 1440. This constellation of features is what finally persuaded me to buy this product. I also have a 34-inch monitor for study and home office. As far as gaming is concerned, this product is top - at competitive FPS (CSGo, Valorant etc.) you have to consider whether a 24 inch Full HD with a corresponding refresh rate (now even 360hz) is not more suitable; on the one hand because of the lower demand on the graphics card and on the other hand 24/25 inches of the viewscope are somewhat less demanding.

I also had a Samsung monitor before which had 144 Hz, so the 240 Hz is actually much better on paper, but in reality you don't notice much of a difference. Thanks to G-Sync, all games that can be played at around 60 FPS feel as if you have 144 FPS or similar, I find it incredible how big the difference is between my old main monitor and my new one. HDR is of course also very good and with the high resolution every game is much sharper. Unfortunately, there is also a negative aspect to this monitor and that is that there is a slight flickering in some games in some situations, this is with me from time to time in Rocket League. I have to say, however, that it no longer distracts me from the game as much as it did at the beginning, so I think it's a matter of getting used to it. This flickering can also be removed with a new update, there are a few links in the comments of this review.

1 year of operation at its best, then the screen (the slab) comes off at the top... This created problems with light coming through (on the top) and black stripes appearing in places, due to the screen coming off. Sent back to Digitec so that they could activate the warranty and repair it, but SURPRISE, it's not their fault but mine, as I would have done physical damage (there was NO TRACE on the screen). There was NO PHYSICAL TRACE on my part) that I'm convinced I never did (whereas in similar cases in Europe, Samsung repairs the screen under warranty). So here we are in a country where the company itself decides whether or not to activate the warranty, without going through a company that is not affiliated to it. I'm disgusted with this company, and I've been buying from them for years. I will never trust them again.

Samsung is not known for gaming monitors, but this one is top. Curved 'only' on 27 inches takes some getting used to, but it suits me.
