POST Error 605
There is a "feature" built into the bios, that recognizes non-HP batteries. Every time you try to boot the laptop with this battery, a POST Error occurs with a loud "beep" and you have to press ENTER to continue startup.
It works and is still half as expensive as the OEM battery. Unusable in a business environment though, as in our case.
The ERROR reads
"Non-HP battery detected. This may pose health and safety risks.(605)
ENTER - Continue Startup"
The manufacturer of the replacement battery is not at fault. Although, we wouldn't have ordered it, if we had known.Pro

Good battery, works and does what it should
I installed this replacement battery - from a previous owner, i.e. with a discount - in my Elitebook x360 1030 G3 with the latest BIOS update and cannot agree with the previous speakers. There was no BIOS error message, nor did the delivery take long. Everything works as it should. My notebook now lasts 5-6 hours again under normal office load; previously it was 2 hours. So everything is ok for me.
