Nintendo Pokémon Sword
Played through the game and never lost a single battle. Every arena leader is, without prior training immediately defeatable. The story is ridiculous and from the once feared Team Rocket that is to be compared with a mafia-like organization, became an "evil" fan club of a rival trainer, who blocked by littering ways....
The game is geared for young children. Effectivities of attacks are shown as soon as you select them.
The world looks great but is pretty empty, no sidequests, no exciting stories NPC tell. No gadgets (e.g. the tree caves from Ruby/Sapphire) to liven up the game. All in all, the weakest Pokemon title I've played so far.

It is a stink normal Pokemon in my eyes also, if the fights and dialogues are very toddler fair it makes me nevertheless fun. The new region is varied and even if certain details look worse than on a Gamecube the game in general doesn't look too bad. I definitely wouldn't spend 12 hours without a break with this game like I did with let's go, but it's a really okay game for the everyday pastime.
Spelling errors you may keep. :)

I like the game despite all the criticism. The story is fun and the region is beautiful and varied. When playing, however, it sometimes feels a bit as if the game needed another 1-2 months of fine-tuning. The textures of trees are very poor, reflections on water don't make sense, etc.
But as far as the characters and details are concerned, a very clean job has been done here.

The game itself was fun because it's simply Pokemon. No more, but also no less. My last Pokemon game was Pearl and I loved it to death. It had such cool features and quests after the top four. But in this version I find it a shame that the tournament is so short. It's an exciting idea in itself. You played through the whole game within 60 hours. (Up to the champ, complete Pokedex and the post-champ missions).
The enemies are a bit too weak. From the 3rd arena onwards I could sweep through with Garados to the champ. Only with one Garados... In the Battle Tower, on the other hand, the opponents are finally more exciting. They have tactics. What a wonder. I would have liked them to do that from the beginning... or in the course of the game....
Haven't played the game for a few months either. There's no reason to anymore. I think the game is designed more for PVP. Because that has definitely been made easier. Only I want to play PVE...
The game is refreshing but nothing mind blowing either. Would only buy this on sales.

I think the game itself is quite good. I really like the story, the mode with the free running around in certain areas and the new features in certain sections of the game.
