Definitely recommendable!
The product was delivered on time and quickly, everything was intact and in original packaging. The lens does what it promises and so far I have no complaints.

For 5 years my almost-always-with-me lens (meanwhile almost 15000 pictures taken with it and used on two cameras), which has never disappointed me. Especially on holiday and when you are out and about (urban exploration :) ), you always have all the useful focal lengths with you. My wide-angle with f2.8 is (logically) better in terms of speed, but an extra 1.2kg of weight is sometimes too much, so I prefer the 18-105.
Image quality is already good (see also various test reports on the net), in addition I use the "Lens Correction" in Lightroom, then there is really nothing more to complain about. Chromatic aberration is practically non-existent, as is vignetting, but even for that: see the test reports on the internet.
The only reason why I wouldn't use it anymore would be the appearance of an "18-105mm f2.8" version ;)
I have been carrying it around for 5 - 6 years!
Very practical lens, I have been using it for maybe 5-6 years. 10,000 photos taken, a bit everywhere. Normal weight around 450 g. In the mountains no problem, less practical for photographing wild animals in the distance. But for panorama and close-ups perfect. I am very satisfied.
