My first webcam in about 15 years....
We are launching our JCPC-Fun-Stream with it. The first tests were successful.
The cam delivers 60fps at 720p and 30fps at 1080p. For streaming, I don't think anyone needs more than 720p, since the facecam is always kept Small anyway.
Autofocus and light adjustment is also solved quite well and is not found annoying.
Quality is convincing, although I immediately deactivated the integrated microphone.
The supplied 3-foot tripod also makes a solid impression and the screen mount works without problems!
So the device has my buy recommendation :)

Very good camera, the quality is amazing even in bad light. The tripod is practical and included.
The ChromaCam software refuses to install on a very powerful laptop though.

After >6 years with a simple Microsoft webcam, I treated myself to something new and was really looking forward to this upgrade. Unfortunately, I soon became disillusioned when I realised that the new Logitech C922 Pro cannot cope with backlighting (I have a window in the background). Even when there is no direct sunlight, I am just a black shadow, barely recognisable in the picture. The simple, 6-year-old Microsoft camera had a much better handle on this. I'm going to sell it again and go back to the old camera for the time being..... too bad!

I use it for Discord and most of the time the whole picture is either just in blue tone or very dark. Sharpness is not good either.

I got the C922 as a replacement and have to say I am shocked how terrible external webcams still are. The dynamic range of the image is on par with the cheapest digital cameras from 10 years ago. And I am not talking about doing HDR images, but just basic exposure control is very difficult. If I want my face to be lit normally the background is almost black.
Adjustments are basically non-existent (especially on Mac). You can change the brightness, but not the exposure.
It says it does full HD recording but the image looks like it is being upscaled and some weird softening filters put over it to hide it. Truly shocking.
The camera has a stereo microphone, but one side has much higher gain than the other side, so audio seems to be coming out of only one side. In their own software Logi Capture they conveniently hide that fact by only recording in mono anyways.
The camera has a light that shows when it is enabled, which is very handy. But the light starts blinking when the camera has power but is not connected to a computer. Since I have my camera in a docking station as soon as I unplug my computer the camera light just stays blinking forever unless I completely unplug the docking station from power.
So all in all I am super disappointed by the state of webcams in 2021 and especially by this supposedly higher end one from Logitech.
2 stars because Logitech's support is actually very helpful and sent me this as a free replacement.
