Radial ProD2

The Radial ProD2 is a passive stereo direct insert box for professional audio applications. This compact unit features two independent ProDI channels, each equipped with high quality Radial transformers, making it ideal for keyboards, DJ equipment, drum machines, digital recorders and hi-fi systems. It operates without an external power supply, eliminating the need for phantom 48V, and includes a ground lift function to reduce hum and noise. Connectivity includes jack inputs and outputs as well as XLR plug outputs, allowing balanced signal transmission over long distances with minimal interference. Key specifications include a frequency range of 20 Hz to 18.5 kHz, a dynamic range of 128 dB, a maximum input of +18 dB at 20 Hz, an input impedance of 140 kOhm unbalanced and an output impedance of 150 Ohms balanced. The transformer is an Eclipse ET-DB2 with a 12:1 conversion ratio that delivers a smooth, warm sound that reduces digital harshness.
