This device is not going to be an issue, it uses the standard in use by Swisscom which gives a maximum speed of up to 500Mbits in the line (depending on distance). Nothing to do with the performance in your LAN. This is a DSL router only not suitable for other services like FTTH. Hope this helps.

In Bridge Mode (with the Swiss "Bridge Firmware"), it does not matter which provider is used to access the Internet via DSL. What is important is the "correct" provider-specific configuration in the router that is connected to the bridge via the WAN. This works for me with Swisscom or Wingo.

There are three variants of the XMG3927, two of which have WLAN permanently deactivated. This should be the "Bridge mode without Wi-Fi" variant. However, it would be advantageous if this circumstance were better documented in the product description, which is not really evident here (it didn't bother me, I don't do WLAN on the DSL end device). According to Zyxel (I contacted support about this some time ago), there is no firmware update because there are no necessary improvements (the bug I reported was obviously not important enough for a firmware update).

Hello! We didn't test Swisscom, Swisscom tested us :) In any case: The device also works with Sunrise without any problems. Greetings Zyxel Switzerland

Hello! This should work without any problem, on the one hand the router is Swisscom certified, so no surprises are to be expected here. If you do not connect the Swisscom TV Box directly to the router, you must ensure that the switches used are also IGMP-capable, you can find a few tips here: https://www.studerus.ch/de/support/download/60364_1
