Hello. The supplied charging cable (1m) is used to charge the camera quickly and correctly, but no specific charger is specified in the product data. Official Xiaomi sources do not mention an explicitly recommended charger, but a standard USB power adapter with 5V/2A is common for such devices. Make sure that the power supply used fulfils the safety standards and has sufficient power. If unsure, please consult the Community or the manufacturer for exact specifications.
No, no SD card included. But that's nowadays 1-5 francs goods used but also when new at the cheapest purchase...
I can recommend the camera itself and the xiaomi app. My cheaper tenda was also very good until you had to cancel the subscription for the cloud after 3 months. Continuous 2 days cloud storage is free with xiaomi
Good morning, I bought this set but with only one camera (package already opened) because I didn't want to spend a lot of money, moral is that it's not what I expected so I packed it up, should I maybe put it up for sale? But I already have a lot of material that has reached a cupboard where everything I don't need is stored. In short, I can't help you.
Question 1
Yes with app from manufacturer.
Question 2
Max. 4 cameras per receiver. My camera is (just measured) approx. 12 metres away with the house wall there are 2. walls with good reception.
3 Answer
The receiver can be connected via cable and WLAN.
4 Answer
receiver, the data is stored on an SD card. And connect four camera at the same time.
Unfortunately, I can confirm this. A paid cloud plan does not change anything.
The recording always starts with a delay so that people walking by are not recorded.
Recording is possible for a maximum of 15 seconds at a time. A new recording is only possible with a pause of at least 30 seconds. Totally unusable as a surveillance / security camera.
It is possible with the Xiaomi Home app. According to the manufacturer, the receiver can connect up to 4 IP security cameras. And store their data SDCard. The Xiaomi C400 is an indoor IP security camera. But I have not tried it!
Hello, the best idea will probably be, it sounds like you haven't had the camera for too long, to have it replaced under warranty. I had mine replaced under warranty because the battery died after a few days instead of, I think, a month or two. I wouldn't invest too much time here when you can have a new device. Good luck and greetings
The manufacturer states that one receiver can support up to 4 outdoor cameras. The exact installation procedure is described in the operating instructions.
The unit is connected to the indoor receiver during set-up. This connection must exist, otherwise the camera will not record anything, because the images are stored on the receiver. Internet is not required for this operation.
I bought the set with 3 additional cameras. But I can't get all 4 cameras to work.
Everything works with 3 cameras, but as soon as I connect the 4th camera, the system hangs.
Live recordings do not work and nothing is recorded.
Error message: Supports up to five simultaneous real-time channels (teacup symbol)
I have already tried everything:
-Internet OK also tried at several locations.
-Power supply OK.
-Cameras read in in different order
-Reciver exchanged by colleague
-Updates made
-deleted app and reset everything.
All in all, I've already spent about 10-12 hours and nothing works.
Does anyone have any tips?
Otherwise the whole thing is unfortunately unusable for me and has to go back.
Thank you very much
Good day
Is it possible to leave these cams connected to the mains?
I would like to keep the cam plugged in so that I don't have to disconnect it to charge the battery.
Is this possible or not possible?
If not, is there an outdoor cam from Xiaomi where this would be possible?
Otherwise, this cam would be built exactly the way I want it.
