Yes, the XGIMI Horizon Pro projector supports 3D content. To use the 3D function, you need active shutter 3D glasses. It is recommended to use the original XGIMI 3D glasses to ensure optimal performance and a better viewing experience.
Regarding compatibility with the Panasonic DMP-BDT167 Blu-ray player: This Blu-ray player supports 3D playback. If you connect it to the XGIMI Horizon Pro via HDMI, you should be able to play 3D content. Make sure that both the projector and the Blu-ray player are set up correctly for 3D playback and that you are using compatible 3D glasses.
Please note that the quality of 3D playback also depends on the compatibility of the 3D glasses used. It is therefore advisable to use the recommended XGIMI 3D glasses.
I wouldn't bet on WiFi for sound/image synchronisation!
In this video: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=CLHx0Utq3IU he mentions Bluetooth.
Perhaps with a Bluetooth adapter?

I can only agree with this, I tried the beamer for the first time on a white plaster wall. (Mariokart, Youtube, Netflix) and it worked great, good picture, brightness, etc. Now with a screen, because it's a bit better, but not necessarily.

Yes, it is possible to connect an external DVD drive to an XGIMI Horizon Pro projector via USB, but with some restrictions.
- The XGIMI Horizon Pro supports USB ports that provide enough power to operate TV sticks and other USB devices.
- However, the external DVD drive must be compatible with the projector's Android TV system, which is not guaranteed. Most external DVD drives are designed for PCs and laptops and may not work directly with the projector's Android TV system.
- An alternative solution would be to copy the content from the DVD to a USB drive or external hard drive and then connect it to the projector, as the projector supports local files and media sources via USB.
Unfortunately, it still doesn't work, so I complained to XGIMI and got a dongle for the HDMI socket... similar to Apple TV or Amazon Fire Stick, works perfectly
Hello, the camera in my home is in a corner, the projection is diagonal, the room is 4m 50 wide and the minimum width obtained is 2m 10 with the zoom at maximum.
Yes, you can operate the XGIMI Horizon Pro 4K projector with Apple TV via HDMI. The Horizon Pro 4K supports HDMI connections and is compatible with various devices, including media streamers such as Apple TV.
- The projector has multiple HDMI inputs that you can use to connect Apple TV.
- There are no known compatibility issues between the XGIMI Horizon Pro 4K and Apple TV via HDMI.
our projector is also at an angle, the image is projected straight, but what mine still sees is simply the bright cone of light without an image... but that's normal, even with a friend of mine. so there's no dark shadow as you know it, just a bright cone of light without an image. the bright cone of light, which doesn't have the shape of the image (rectangular), but one where the right side is longer than the left, for example, because the projector is in front of the left wall, is just normal. i hope you understand what i mean.
Technically, there is nothing to be said against it.
Luminosity is good, of course there are brighter projectors for presentations. But they are also significantly larger and louder.
The projector is quiet, compact, elegant and has a good image.
At this price, it certainly makes sense to use the device for home cinema. It's great for that.
Unfortunately, I can't answer the question about the quality or I didn't really notice it. But be aware that you will always see a grey frame of the original projection surface when you zoom out.
the projector does not have a vga connection you would probably have to watch netflix via e.g. the google chromecast. that should work, i have read. but i always find such a thing not so elegantly solved.
As we have purchased these devices at a higher price and suppliers do not always offer reductions directly, we are currently unable to offer you the price you want.
The Horizon PRO 4k has 1500 lm and if you need more, opt for the Horizon Ultra with 2300 lm. The PRO is more than adequate for this price, quality and functions. I use it as a replacement for a TV. With a good screen, that's all you need.
