If you want to establish the Internet connection via VPN, you need a VPN server to which the router connects. There are various suppliers for this, for example, and you will need all the relevant data: server ip, account name/pw etc., so I would ask beforehand if necessary. The router supports ipsec, pptp, openvpn, wireguard and can be used in the network as a vpn client and server.
