I switched to Starlink about 3 months ago. It worked quite well at first. In the meantime, Starlink is unusable with MS Teams. It keeps crashing for several seconds. According to the Starlink log, it's only a few milliseconds, but in Teams it's several seconds. My download speeds were between 150 and 250 Mbps.

You simply have to select the right plan, in this case: Mobile Regional (costs 59.- per month). The connection is established automatically and as soon as the connection is re-established, you can access and configure it from anywhere in the world using the app. The only thing your parents need to be able to do is set up the antenna in a suitable place (with as few obstacles as possible) and plug in the cables.
The plan can be paused flexibly. Instead of the mobile tariffs, you could also use a fixed address for residential (€50, better data rates). The dish automatically aligns itself using an internal motor. The view to the north should always be clear, as it is orientated in that direction.

Hello, Yes it's possible, I did it in France in my holiday home. I took out a subscription in France on the Starlink site with the serial number of the kit and it works very well. The kits are all the same (in my opinion).
