In my case, it is 19 cm long from the outlet of the device to the end of the plug. Very short in any case. Otherwise, the HUB works great.

I'm looking for a USB-C hub to charge multiple devices, i.e. I don't plug it into my laptop, but into my charger. The USB-C hub only serves as a multiple plug for charging, so to speak. Does this USB-C hub support this functionality?

Unfortunately, this adapter cannot charge at all. The output current is not even sufficient for my Logitech Stream Cam. It also explicitly says so in the instruction leaflet, it is probably only intended for keyboards, iPhone sync or similar. I would have liked to have known this beforehand...

Is this hub compatible with an Android smartphone (in particular a Samsung Galaxy) so that you can connect an Ethernet adapter (RJ45) and Usb-c audio headphones to the phone?

This is a very basic USB hub, not a docking hub. Therefore it cannot provide pass through power for charging a laptop or computer using the hub. It can however be used to charge phones and tablets, accessories connected to the ports on the hub.
