Hi Rosinida4 The docking station has a USB-C connection to the notebook. However, the connections on the docking station itself are USB-A connections. Greetings John
yep, it works. Note, however, that the Macbook Air M2 does not support two external monitors.
Yes, but you will have two screenshots rather than one extended desktop.
I don't think the Macbook 2015 has 2x USB-C ports. Basically, the problem is with Macbooks with M1 processors, where the image is mirrored. But you can remedy this by using a docking station that works like a USB graphics card.
Hi Bravewolf, No, at that time the Mac doesn’t allowed me to use two monitors. I’ve to say that I’ve a normal monitor and a 4K one; I don’t know if this combination is causing a problem. I’ve now installed the new update and I’ll try it once more. I hope this helps a bit. Cheers J
Hello mediaset, I have the adapter to connect 2 more monitors from my macbookpro. I am currently working with 2x27" HP monitors and the internal display of my MacBook. Greetings Dirk
Yes, that's right. I thought I'd use it to connect two monitors to my new Mac with Apple processor. I was pretty disappointed when I realised that this great Mac Book Pro only supports one monitor. Now I have connected my iPad to the computer via Sidecar and also to the second monitor. It's not ideal, but this way I can still use the second screen. The second HDMI port remains empty. ☹️
Yes, works perfectly also with two external disks over USB A
The adapter does not format itself, which operating system is the adapter connected to? Nothing is formatted automatically on my mac.
Good day Manufacturer's specifications: "Enjoy brilliant 4K 60Hz HDMI display extended across two monitors" and " Dual display not supported on Apple M1 Macs." So for the MacBook Air M1: Only 1 monitor with 4K 60Hz possible. Kind regards
Yes 1x30 u 1x60 hz
Yes, it is supported. Unfortunately, the speed is not breathtaking. Approx. 80 mb/s with an external fast reader I get up to 250 mb/s. Of course, this is also a cost factor.
I can't say whether it works on a 2016 13" MBP. In principle, nothing speaks against it because two USB-C ports are needed. They are available.
