This is supported, but I wouldn't recommend the 27-inch variant with Full HD 1920 x 1080 pixel resolution, because smaller fonts are displayed very pixelated. I would go for the 4K UHD 3840 x 2160 pixel variant, it is a bit more expensive, but you get a screen with four times the resolution.

Hello, I have the following problem:
After switching on the monitor, it starts playing different colours over the entire screen (i.e. alternating red, green, blue, white, black and back again). I have already pressed and held the OFF button for a long time but no change. I can only switch on and off with the remote control, otherwise the monitor does not respond to any button commands on the remote control. I have also disconnected the power supply several times.
What else can I do?
The monitor is 1 year old and has hardly been used.

Yes, this works, it is a function of the HDMI standard (CEC is the name, you might have to activate it on the Sunrise box). However, if this screen is also intended for computer work, a resolution of 1920x1080 pixels is not at all ideal on 27 inch screens, as fonts are only displayed pixelated.
A 4K UHD monitor with 3840 x 2160 pixels would be better. Samsung also offers a solution with the M7, but it costs around 300 francs.
By the way, these Samsung M5 and M7 monitors can also play TV programmes with the internal Samsung operating system, so you don't need a Sunrise box to watch TV.
