It's certainly not bad for gaming with a response time of 4ms, and with an IPS panel you get a better picture than with a gaming monitor, which usually has a poorer TN panel because of the response time. If you play fast games, however, I would recommend a monitor that has 75+hz. unfortunately, I can't give you any information about multimedia work, but because of the IPS panel and the 27" screen size, I would say that the device is very suitable for this.

Hi there - as this display is "only" Full-HD, you will not need a higher dp or hdmi version. this monitor comes with hdmi 1.2 and dp 1.1. the resolution should work fine, as schould the refresh rate of 60hz
