Samsung Pay did not work for me. I was then asked by Samsung to contact support - without success. Since then, I have simply used Google Pay. It works fine.
According to Samsung Switzerland (https://images.samsung.com/is/content/samsung/assets/ch/offer/mobile/galaxy-s22-trade-in/TNB_Promotion_Galaxy-S22_Trade-in_Partners_DE.pdf), the date of purchase is the date on the proof of purchase (i.e. the date you placed the order). Therefore, you do not need to worry as long as you submit this action to Samsung before 22 May 2022.
According to the information provided by Samsung, the EU model may differ from original German goods in the following points: possibly different scope of delivery, possible differences in warranty service and duration, possible exclusion from manufacturer promotions (cashback etc.), possibly no German operating instructions, possibly menu language not in German, possibly later roll-out of software updates.
You can initiate a warranty case directly from your customer account via "Returns and defects" and then "Create new case". Alternatively, our customer service team will be happy to help you:

I got through the day with it. But it's actually the weak point of this mobile phone. Of course you can extend the battery life with a power bank, but then you're carrying more around again. You should actually go for the S23. It has a much better battery. Larger mobiles have the advantage. I have the A54 as a backup mobile phone and it lasts a long time.
I had exactly the same problem a week ago. I solved it by uninstalling WhatsApp on the new mobile and reinstalling it. Then I was asked if I wanted to restore the data (photos, videos, chat history, etc.). I suspect that the pre-installed WhatsApp version on the new mobile had led to this problem.
Hands off this phone. Shortly after buying it, the camera broke and the battery lasts less than that of my old S9. I installed a new battery in my S9 and sold the S22 at a loss. Never again a flagship non Samsung!!!!
Showroom means that the product is on display in certain branches. The branches are mentioned under the tab "Showroom" under the article in question.
All products sold on our website are new, except when they are mentioned as "Used + tested" or "Reconditioned".
Once the goods have been ordered, the warranty will start on the day of shipment.
Yes, that is a good question. The two devices are absolutely identical in construction (same type) and also recommended by all 3 Swiss providers. It may be that the "regular" version has something extra in it, because the pack is a bit bigger and heavier. The EU version certainly does not include a charger or headphones. I use the charger from the Galaxy A8 or the Galaxy tablet. Both work fine. My S22 EU had Android 12, but there was an immediate update to Android 13. What certainly still needs to be improved in version 13: the Samsung keyboard only offers the "US-English" layout, it cannot yet be changed to German-CH. I therefore downloaded the Microsoft keyboard app from the Play Store; the correct CH keyboard can be set up there.
Headphones must be connected either via the USB-C port or via Bluetooth. There is no slot for an SD memory card.
But, and this is important to me, I have finally found another smartphone with a reasonable size and the best features.
I've bought a Samsung Galaxy S22. When transferring my data to this new phone, I can't retrieve my WhatsApp chat history. I save my chats on Google Drive. This isn't the first time I've changed phones without any problems. But this time, when I installed and opened WhatsApp, then proceeded to check my number on the new phone, I don't get any suggestion to restore my chats from Google Drive. I'm using the same number.
Why is it that when I install WhatsApp on my new phone, I don't get the suggestion to restore my chats from Google Drive?
There is only one charging cable included, unfortunately many manufacturers no longer supply chargers (including Google and Apple, only charging cables) and since the newer phones can often also charge quickly, buyers who still have an old charger in the drawer are at a double disadvantage. Companies that supply a charger with every phone that supports the charging performance of the phone, such as Xiaomi and Poco, are still at a disadvantage. An equally good smartphone from Xiaomi, for example, would be the Model 12, which is not very big at 6.28 inches, offers very good cameras and a reasonable price, includes a charger with 67 watts and also supports wireless charging with up to 50 watts, so maybe that's a good alternative? Price-wise it would fit.
