RØDE VideoMic Me-L
RØDE VideoMic Me-L
You're better off doing interviews with the Go2 or an appropriate bar mic for interviews, the ME is more of an all-rounder - these are my2cents as an ME user...
No, the VideoMic Me-L is equipped with a Lightning connector for iPhones. The VideoMic Me-C has a USB-C connector.
Unfortunately we were not able to test this microphone. Especially under such specific circumstances. However, we will leave the question open in case anyone would like to share their experience with us.
if you have an iphone, buy the L version. For microphones, the closer the better. what do you need it for?
Røde Wireless Go 2 is much better to bevused at a distance > 1.50 m. Else I had good results with Boya BY-M1DM which consists of 2 Lavalier microphones with long cable.
Unfortunately, according to my research, you can't use the mic with the Go Pro hero 7.
I think the Lightning version (at least that's how it was for me)
You can also use a jack microphone with a Lightning adapter ;)
There is a Lightning (female) to USB-C (male) adapter (e.g. from ANKER), but as far as I know, they only work with headphones for listening, but not in the other direction (microphone). Even if it did work, the RØDE microphone would not be suitable for this, as it only holds on to the plug. With an adapter, it would be a very shaky affair. I would rather use this microphone RØDE VideoMicro (Mono, Black) and connect it via a jack plug, or with an adapter like this: Baseus 2in1 USB Type-C TO 3.5 MM AUX + USB Type-C Adapter (USB-C, 3.5mm, USB Type C). However, I don't know whether this adapter is only intended for listening or whether you can also connect a microphone.
