Yes, you only need to connect the microphone to your PC using a USB cable. It is supplied with power via USB and automatically recognised by the computer as an audio input device. If necessary, you can select the microphone as the default device in your PC's audio settings.

Yes, the microphone holder with pop guard is included in the scope of delivery. The set includes a table stand and a removable pop guard, which is mounted directly between the microphone and the holder.

Hello I work with Linux and Audacity which is a free application, no problem. I'm sure that if you try a few (free) applications you'll find what you're looking for. For streaming and podcasting there's also OBS studio where you can put several video sources and microphones, mix... Have a nice day.

I couldn't make friends with the Rode software either. I make all recordings on my laptop directly with the Audacity programme and am satisfied with the recording quality of the speech.

Hello; no, you don't need it. Just connect it to USB-C (you might need an adapter for USB-A) and that's it. As a rule, you only need an interface for XLR microphones. But you also have studio quality with the NT-USB+. The mic is really very good, I give it a clear recommendation to buy. You definitely won't go wrong with it...!
