The PS5 model of this wireless gaming headset is also compatible with the PC and can be used via the USB-C wireless dongle supplied. However, not all software support such as Razer Synapse is guaranteed on the PC, as this PS5 version is not recognised by PC Synapse. This means that some advanced functions and customisations that run via the software are not available on the PC. However, the basic functions such as audio and microphone work wirelessly on the PC.

The difference between the 159.- and 161.- is that one is for PC/XBox and the other PC/PS. The one without the price will probably be the one from 2023, the others are from 2024 and the v3 will be released soon.

The headset is wirelessly compatible with PC and Xbox. It works via the supplied USB-C wireless dongle for PC and Xbox and thus offers high-quality, low-latency audio transmission. It also supports Bluetooth for additional connectivity. It is specially optimised for Xbox One and Xbox Series X|S and is also suitable for PC gaming.

I was able to do some research and according to the manufacturer's specifications and the comparisons, the 2023 model now has Bluetooth, USB-C, a slightly better microphone, EQ presets and a slightly improved sound. Yes, this is the 2023 model: Razer Blackshark V2 Pro

The headset uses a USB-C port for charging and offers wireless transmission via Bluetooth and radio frequency (RF). According to the manufacturer, the battery life is up to 70 hours, based on the official specifications of the Razer BlackShark V2 Pro series. *Note:* The exact runtime may vary depending on use. If you have any questions about the compatibility of the USB dongle (separate accessory), I recommend checking the Razer support page or contacting the manufacturer directly, as there are reports of supply bottlenecks in forums.

To connect the Razer Blackshark V2 Pro (2023) to the PS4, you can use the included wireless USB dongle. Here are the steps: 1. plug the USB dongle into an available USB port on the PS4. 2. switch on the headset by pressing the power button 3. the headset should automatically connect to the dongle 4. make sure that the headset is selected as the default output and input device in the PS4 settings. Alternatively, you can use Bluetooth, but the connection via the dongle is recommended as it is more stable.

A few points: - I'm using it for video conferencing extensively in business setting, overall I'm happy with it - it's on the heavier side, good quality build with stronger "passive" external noise isolation - works fine both with Windows and Linux with no extra software. There is a nasty issue where the volume knob on the left "cup" randomly stops controlling the OS sound volume level and the headset gets stuck on maximum volume after each power on unless manually adjusted. Deleting device in Device Manager in Windows and re-inserting the USB dongle fixes the problem for both Win/Linux. I have to deal with it maybe every other month. - for me battery life has been amazing. Sometimes I forget I actually have to charge it at all. I go for weeks between charges. - headset does turn off completely after 15m of audio signal absence with the "Power off" voice announcement. I don't think it's controllable without the software or at all. But I've also seen complaints that automatic power-off doesn't work for some users. - when headset is active, there is a bit of audible static. After 15s of no audio, headset switches into what I assume is energy-saving mode with a bit of an audible click. Static then disappears or becomes largely not noticeable. When audio signal resumes, the headset picks it up with a bit of a click again, but almost instantaneously.

Depends on what you want, I can tell you for CS2 Competetive the CS profile is perfect, you don't want an awesome sound but the right one to improve the location in the game, btw. to emphasise the important aspects of the game. The game mode profiles all sound terrible. But they filter the unimportant sounds and output them. I used to have the Hyper X and also the JBL Quantum and have to say the Razer is better and sounds better to me personally. However, I can agree that I have problems with the headset on Tarkov with binoral audio, for example. All in all, the thing has so many settings to customise it to your wishes that it sounds like an AliExpress thing is nonsense. You might think that with the game modes, but as described above, they should sound like shit.

Yes, you understand correctly. The Razer BlackShark V2 Pro 2023 wireless gaming headset comes with a 2.4GHz USB dongle for low-latency wireless connectivity to devices like your PC, PS5, or Switch. However, it also supports Bluetooth 5.2, which allows you to connect it to your phone or other Bluetooth-enabled devices without needing the dongle. You can use the dongle for connections to your gaming console or PC, and simultaneously connect to a Bluetooth device, such as your phone, to receive audio from both sources at the same time.

It worked for me on the first try. But make sure you have the right version of Razer synapse (check after update). Otherwise I don't know what the problem could be. Hope you can solve your problem.

That doesn't sound like a heatset problem but a Discord problem. It works perfectly for me. Have a look under voice and video chat there is the option attenuation, is it perhaps at 100%? Just turn it down or completely off with 0%

As far as I know, you can be connected at the same time, but as soon as you play something from the second connected source, it is switched over and the other source can no longer be heard. So, for example, if you are connected to the PC with the dongle and to the mobile phone via Bluetooth and you are gaming, as soon as you play something on the mobile phone, the source is switched to Bluetooth and you no longer hear the sound from the dongle. I hope this answers your question. Kind regards Milosz
