What about Dolby Atmos support via Netflix? And is there a Disney+ app for the player? If so, what about Dolby Vision/Atmos and 4K support there? Thanks in advance!

I don't have a Netflix subscription, but yesterday I opened the app and at the intro screen where I was offered a subscription, my LG OLED signalled Dolby Vision.

My question Can this BlueRay player remember the position of a certain number of discs? ...and when I reinsert it, will it continue to play exactly at the last position, even if several other discs have been inserted in the meantime? Which would be the idea? If not: does anyone know of other BlueRay players that can do this? Thank you & greetings

Hello Abra09HW. It works fine on my device. I just had a situation like this. However, this is not the case with all BluRays. I'm not sure, but I think the disc must also support this function in the disc menu. LG

No, unfortunately this is not possible. Only DVDs with the region code "2" or "ALL" can be played.

How does the device cope with DVDs "handled by children" (i.e. scratches, fingerprints, etc.)? Some devices are very sensitive to this and even the smallest impurity can cause interruptions and/or crashes.

I have some older and repeatedly used DVDs which all work perfectly in the DP-UB154, I haven't noticed any scratched DVDs in particular, so far the unit has played all DVDs without any faults or interruptions.

How does the player plays mp3's from a bluray , are there any special setting needed for it, i can play the mp3's without any problems from an USB stick but not from a Blueray. Any suggestions ?

According to the description, the unit has a 1 GB hard disk (!) built in. That somehow doesn't make any sense. Even a very cheap DVD has almost five times as much memory. Is this information correct? Or what does it mean in concrete terms?

No, it cannot play wmv videos (from any medium). According to the operating instructions, it can play the following formats from a USB device: AVCHD, AVCHD 3D, MKV, MP4, MPEG2, JPEG, MPO, AAC, AIFF, ALAC, DSD (DFF, DSF), FLAC, MP3, WAV, WMA. I also tested it and copied 1 WMV and 1 MP4 to a USB stick: MP4 works, WMV does not.

I have a problem. I have downloaded a film on a hard disk. It has a German and an English track. On the PC or other devices I can easily switch between these tracks but on the Panasonic I couldn't figure it out. Does anyone know how this works?

Hello :-) no need to waste any more hours testing, it's not possible... I have an LG G4 TV with this player, and it's negative. The TV has to be a Panasonic, which is what I had before. On the other hand, I can recommend the Sofabaton X1S programmable remote control, a worthy successor to the late Logitech Harmony, only better! programmable from the iOS or Android app! very satisfied!
