Can only Panasonic Eneloop batteries be charged with this device or can batteries from other manufacturers also be charged?

Point 1 in the operating instructions: "To reduce the risk of damage, we recommend using only rechargeable Ni-MH batteries from Panasonic". If you were to use NiMHs from other manufacturers anyway, it would also work with them. But that is purely hypothetical.

Can you now charge 4 x AA at the same time with this device or can you only charge 2 x AA and 2 x AAA at the same time? The BQ-CC16 says 4 x AA or 4 x AAA. The charging current is also significantly lower here.

Helpful answer

So 4x AA can be charged at the same time. I don't know how many AAA batteries can be charged, but I think 4x AAA or 2xAA+2xAAA.
