The lens can also be mounted on FX cameras. But the entire surface of the FX sensor cannot be used. So it is a bit of a pity. As far as quality is concerned, it is top. I have already taken beautiful portrait and macro photos (I am a hobby photographer and use the D7000). For macro photos, I can get so close to the object that I already make shadows myself with my body. So I have to use unleashed flash to compensate for this.
