The UM-1 are for the tilt of the base, the tilt can also be adjusted directly on the F-GT, but not continuously. The existing holes in the F-GT fit the DD Wheelbase. If the UM-1 is still to be used and the other existing holes would not fit, it is easy to make them yourself. Not buying the F-GT just because the existing holes might not fit makes no sense to me. I am completely happy with the F-GT and can recommend it to every SIM racer.

The pedals can be mounted quite close to the steering wheel bracket and you can also slide the seat forwards and backwards. I have mounted the additional monitor holder between the steering wheel and the pedals - it fits well with my 1.77. If you are shorter, the monitor holder should be behind the pedals.
