zimmesan2 years ago000Has anyone installed the DD-WRT open source firmware on the unit and successfully enabled the SFP+ port and set it up as a WAN port? (PS: for all those who ask whether the port works as a WAN Internet connection, for example with init7. Yes, just plug in the optics of init7 directly and configure the port accordingly in the Netgear OS. (Basic > Internet > WAN Port Preference 10G LAN SFP+ Port (10 Gbps)). The port can obviously be used as a LAN and as a WAN port. Fortunately, no fibre to copper converter is necessary. By the way, study the new Init7 offers, what you can get for the same money nowadays :-)) My question is: can I make exactly the same setting in DD-WRT for the fibre optic module? DD-WRT should get the last bit of performance out of the device. Many thanksShow in original language (German)1 answer
