Questions about Multibrackets Laptop holder

The bracket is very solid and of high quality. The dimensions seem rather small for a 17". Do the feet of your laptop fit on the bracket? For my 16", I screwed on an additional perforated plate so that the rubber feet of the laptop have contact everywhere.

Is only the plate, would otherwise be too cheap with a gas handle arm -> Multibrackets Gasliftarm Single (Table, 32") :-)
