MicroConnect ModularCable RJ11 6P/4C
I have not found any information/pictures on this model either at Panasonic or at digitec regarding an RJ11 connection, sorry. Digitec should actually provide the product description!
Yes, this is exactly the cable you need. I have another cable about 5 metres long. I will send it to you for postage. Email in profile.
I don't have a Fritzbox and use the cable for something else, but I'll try to give an answer anyway: It depends on what connection the cable is needed for: For the telephone connection from the "wall" to the FritzBox, an RJ10 with 4 places/4 occupied pins is normally sufficient, but from the FritzBox to a PC or switch, an RJ45 cable is needed. If this answer does not help, please describe in more detail what the cable is to be used for and which connection does not work (e.g. the modem does not synchronise, or the LEDs on the FritzBox are OK, but the computer cannot access the Internet, etc).
Unfortunately, that's not so easy. Do you still have the old cable? Look at the two plugs from the front and from above: 4 places (3 partitions) 4 pins 4 cable is old RJ10 4p4c (4 pins 4 connected); 6 places (5 partitions) 2 pins in the middle 2 cable is normal RJ11 6p2c; 6 places 4 pins 4 cable is RJ11 6p4c, also known as RJ14. There are also mixed forms of cables, e.g. one side RJ10 and the other RJ11, depending on the sockets on the device and on the telephone socket. Under Wikipedia "RJ plug connection" you will find the corresponding diagrams. Good luck, greetings Alexander
This is an unshielded telephone cable.
