The cables themselves are quite long:
Cable Length: AC 2m (6.5 ft), DSub 1.8m (6ft), speaker cable (3x 4.6m) (15ft), speaker cable 2x7.62m (25ft)
If you need >8m you can just buy a standard 2 channel cable and extend it manually...
the best is an optical cable for 5.1
I have tested various combinations and had the best experience with the optical cable.

depending on your needs. i have a cheaper 1.5m cable.

To reduce the transmission of vibrations, I use anti-vibration rubbers that are intended as vibration protection for washing machines. I take the ones from Coop Bau and Hobby, approx. 10x10 cm, and spread them under the appliance/speaker.
Unfortunately, we do not offer individual speakers from this set in our range. I would recommend that you ask Logitech directly about this, they may be able to help you.
The total output of the system is 500 watts RMS. Of this, 165 watts are allocated to the subwoofer and 67 watts to each of the four satellite speakers.
Yes, Logitech Z906 speakers are THX certified. This certificate indicates that the system is designed to deliver a high-quality, cinema-like audio experience and supports decoding of Dolby Digital and DTS audio tracks.
The speaker system supports DTS, being able to decode both DTS and Dolby Digital to offer a 5.1 surround sound experience. The rated power of this model is 500 watts, with a peak power of 1000 watts.
The Logitech Z906 speaker system contains a 3.5 mm jack connection, but no specific 3.5 mm jack cable is mentioned in the scope of delivery. However, the connection is available to connect devices with a 3.5 mm jack plug.
In this case, we will refer you to our digitec Assistant, which provides direct contact options so that you can be helped accordingly.

I connected my Samsung Frame via optical cable and it also works with stereo transmissions, on the remote control of the Z906 you can adjust the effects, so you can hear the audio on all channels, as for the 3 jacks normally used on PCs, the green one is normally used as input/output on audio devices, there are devices that from HDMI also use the green jack.
This system has a lot of bass and volume. I consider it a good solution for games.
The speakers all need to be wired, so they are meant for permanent installation.
The Z906 comes/has come in all price ranges over the course of time. I bought mine much cheaper.

Unfortunately, this does not work. The assignment of the wires does not match. In the standard VGA cable, wire 9 is not assigned, but this is required for the Logitech Z906.
Maybe you can get a high-frequency cable with full assignment and mini D-sub plug/socket somewhere.
However, I would like to point out that the cable length plays a role together with the cable quality and I don't know how much you can extend the cable without losing the signal.
But it would be cool if you find something that works.
Good luck.
Yes, you can connect the speakers via an AUX connection. The system has an AUX input on the side of the control panel that can be used for analogue connections. Alternatively, there is also a stereo cinch input 2 on the subwoofer for analogue signals.
Please note, however, that a connection via AUX (3.5 mm jack) usually only provides stereo sound and not true 5.1 surround. For the best possible surround sound, we recommend connecting via the 6-channel inputs of the sound card, which are included in the scope of delivery.
To connect your speakers to a PC without a TOSLINK connection, you can use the 3.5mm jacks. The Logitech Z906 supports a 6-channel analogue connection via 3.5mm jacks, which is suitable for a 5.1-channel surround sound configuration. However, you will need a separate cable or adapter to adapt the blue, green and red 3.5mm sockets to the 6-channel analogue connection. Alternatively, you can also consider an external USB sound card adapter that converts digital outputs to analogue signals if your PC does not have suitable analogue outputs.
