Hello I have owned the device for a short time and I am thrilled! However, I have now discovered that the R400, R700 and R800 models have a security hole in the radio protocol that is now more than three years old and allows attackers to gain control over the receiver plugged into the computer and thus make any keyboard entry (see: https://www.heise.de/security/meldung/Angreifbare-Logitech-Presenter-Hersteller-tauscht-gefaehrliche-USB-Empfaenger-aus-4423627.html). As can be read in the linked article, it is possible to replace the vulnerable receiver with a new one. My question: Can I exchange my current receiver directly at Digitec or do I have to take the "diversions" via the manufacturer?

Dear digitec team Since the trade in laser pointers of class 2 or higher is banned as of 1 June 2019, and their possession will be banned as of 1 June 2021 at the latest, I wanted to ask you which product you would recommend (in terms of function, size, quality and price) instead of the Logitech R400. It can also be another brand. Thank you very much.

Hello Clamp, I can recommend the Logitech Spotlight or Spotlight Plus. It is connected to the laptop or other devices via Bluetooth and then replaces the mouse pointer. The device is without doubt a good replacement for the laser pointer. Logitech Spotlight (2 years warranty) I hope I could help you with this answer.

This device will be banned from 1 June 2019 because it contains an excessively powerful laser. Unfortunately, Logitech does not offer a meaningful path to a legal device. It would be nice: a) Exchange by another model with laser class I b) Conversion from laser class II to laser class I c) Removal of the laser - then you could continue to use the rest. This could be done with/without extra charge. I would be willing to pay something for my two devices here, as it is not Logitech's fault (however, Logitech could have developed a "safer" product from the beginning, without pressure from politics). But the support is unfortunately not very helpful. After several days, they just give me some device, without a price, without an offer to exchange it, without any indication that they are sorry that the product can no longer be offered. Just something nice. That's why I'm asking here: Can anyone recommend a similar product with a Class I laser? Brand as of now doesn't matter, because the support of this Swiss company is just as good as with an Aliexpress supplier.

Surely this device is a laser class 2? As far as I know, these can still be used legally indoors until 2021. Only the import is prohibited from 1 June 2019. See the FOPH flyer: https://www.bag.admin.ch/laserpoint... In any case, I will wait until then for a possible replacement. Unfortunately, I don't know of any similar products at the moment.

Hello, is this also compatible with Windows 8 or Windows 10? on the Logitech site it says that this is compatible for Windows 8 and Windows 10!

Good evening I bought the K810 Bluetooth keyboard from Digitec. It was not mentioned in the specifications that it is Windows 10 compatible. So I searched for it on the Logitech website and it said that it works with Windows 10. To cut a long story short: If Logitech states that the presenter is suitable for Windows 8 and 10, then this should be true. However, only the overview mentions that it supports Windows 10 and higher, but the technical details only say Windows 8. Greetings Aaron
