No, this combo is NOT compatible with Unifying.
Unfortunately, this is not possible with this set. It does not support Unifying, so no other adapter can be paired. It only works with the adapter that came with it

A Unify receiver from Logitech can be purchased individually from digitec. The Logitech software (download in Support) then allows the existing devices (keyboard, mouse) to be connected to the new receiver.

Yes, both radios are on the same frequency (2.4Ghz) and it is possible that the signals mix. I recommend that you pair one set again so that it selects a new radio frequency (https://support.logitech.com/en_us/article/27105). Then one set should select a different frequency than the other and thus interfere less with each other.
