I hope this is not a prank - extension cable for a wireless mouse?
In case not - I'm using a regular cheap USB 2 extension cable when I have to charge it (and still want to use it). You can also find it on Galaxus for 4.- (e.g. https://www.galaxus.ch/en/s1/product/sharkoon-usb-20-verlaengerungskabel-050-m-usb-20-usb-cables-13488050)
Both and.
A mouse that has a battery can be charged how?
- with a lot of love
or
- with a USB cable
;-)

I have been using the unit for over a year and have not noticed anything like that. I have never consciously updated the firmware. At most when it was done automatically via the software. Sounds more like a hardware defect to me.
Yes, the PowerPlay comes with a charging puck that you mount on the bottom of the G Pro (instead of the cover for the receiver compartment). By the way, PowerPlay is not a Qi Charger. It is its own standard.
Good question, I don't know, I already have a new Roccat mouse, the Logitech was too cumbersome for me, too quickly empty because it couldn't switch itself off.
Hello Steven,
The difference lies in the installed sensor.
The G Pro Wireless uses the new HERO sensor from Logitech with 16,000 DPI.
The sensor in the G305 is still the "old" HERO sensor with 12,000 DPI.
The optical sensor is the heart of every gaming mouse.
You can find out more about the sensor here:
https://www.logitechg.com/de-ch/microsite/hero
The G Pro also has a (non-replaceable) battery, which you can recharge directly during use with the USB cable supplied. The G305 is battery powered. Also, the G305 does not support Powerplay, so wireless charging of the mouse with Logitech Powerplay technology is not possible (it does not have a rechargeable battery out of the box).
The Logitech G Pro Wireless has interchangeable side buttons (on both sides). You can customise them to your taste, 4 different replacement buttons are included. You can also customise the mouse to have no side buttons at all, or make it left or right handed (or both if you prefer).
The G Pro has a 3-stage optical LED DPI indicator on the back of the mouse. The G305 does not have an optical DPI indicator.
And yes, the mouse still looks different. Maybe you like one of the designs better.
tl;dr: The G305 is a wireless version of the "old" G Pro Wired mouse. The G Pro Wireless is a completely new revision of the G Pro series.
Greetings Dave
Does anyone else have the problem that the right click is sometimes registered twice?
I was able to test it on the software side and my right click is executed about 50 times twice in 200 clicks.
According to Reddit, you should do a FW update, but I already have the latest version of the G-Hub and I have not found a single firmware. Unfortunately the garantee expired about 14 days ago....
Does anyone know the problem and was able to fix it? It can be quite annoying when playing FPS games etc. if you right-click and it executes it twice or "clicks away" again directly.
