hy anonymous. around 7-8 mm in total. Without breaking anything, finger lightly pressed 5 mm if necessary. Diameter in general according to google is 6mm.
Greetings
Now I have found a solution for me
With these Category 7: Lindy network cables (2m, Black, S/FTP, Cat. 7) my switch shows me 1 Gbit.
With these category 6 cables: Lindy network cable (2m, Black, S/FTP, Cat. 6) my switch only shows 100 Mb
I can only speculate what the reason is, attenuation etc.
Works safely. In my opinion, however, it is overkill for the intended purpose. A cat.5 cable for half the price is also sufficient.
For example, something like this:
Wirewin network cable (15m, grey, F/UTP, Cat. 5e)
We have clarified today's delivery date with the supplier. The desired cables would probably be available in about two weeks if ordered (without guarantee).
