Could someone provide some reliable information on what the differences are between this model here (40WP95XP-W) and the other new model (40WP95CP-W - here: https://www.digitec.ch/en/s1/product/lg-ultrawide-40wp95cp-w-5120-x-2160-pixels-3970-monitor-25288822). Some of the information provided for this model on this page is incorrect, which makes me not trust any of it, to be honest. For example, it says the display refresh rate is 60hz, when LG lists it (through their German page) as 72hz, just as the CP-W version. If the XP-W and the CP-W models are the same, I will of course go ahead and buy the one with the lower price. I just want to understand why the price is lower, if it for example is due to differences in specifications. Thanks for clarifying this.

Hello I use a Mac Studio and a MacBook Pro. Can both devices be connected at the same time? Can both sources be displayed at the same time? How can the display be switched? This is important for me. I have a monitor where this can be set in the monitor menu via a button on the back and that annoys me every day. Thank you very much!

Hello, I have the UltraWide 40WP95XP-W connected to a MacBook Air and an HP Laptop and I can confirm that both sources are connected at the same time. You can either have the whole screen on one source, or share it halfway between each source, i.e. 1/4 and 3/4. This is done via a menu accessible from a button well placed below, in the middle of the screen. I can't recommend it highly enough.

I can answer this question, as I just bought 40WP95XP-W (it was the cheapest of the two at the time of purchase). It is exactly the same monitor. The only difference that I can identify is that XP-W comes with two power plugs, one for the German market and one for the Swiss market. I suspect the plug for the Swiss market has been added so that XP-W can be sold in Switzerland.
