After a few years of use there is latency and unfortunately the usb ports are tired... And some of them no longer work... Yet there's just a mouse plugged into it and a backup hard drive.... So if you use it a lot, you might want to invest a bit more...

I have had similar experiences. The whole construction is a bit "wobbly". So far it has always worked when I have unplugged and plugged the components back in. It's OK for this low price, at least for me.
